*To get to Henderson
Lake Nature Preserve, from U.S. 31, take Fruitvale Road east for a
quarter of a mile.
Turn left (north) onto Henderson Road and proceed about one half mile to
the park entrance on the left (west) side of road.

surrounding locations. Walks will begin at 10:30 a.m.

2009 White Lake Area Nature Walk Series Schedule
The third annual nature
tours, sponsored by Alcoa-Howmet, will expose participants to knowledge of a
variety of topics relating to native plants and wildlife. The walks are
appropriate for adults and families. Children must be accompanied by parents.
The walking tours are free. Registration for walks is suggested, but not
required.
